The SST89C58RC 8051-based MCU features two system management buses (SMBus), each supporting up to 400-Kbit/s data rates, It comes in a tiny 6 x 6-mm QFN package and operates at up to 40 MHz from 2.7 to 5.5 V.
The IC comes with 1 Kbyte of RAM and up to 34 Kbytes of flash and takes 15 mA max at full speed and 100 µA max in power-down mode. It also has three 16-bit timers/counters and nine interrupts with four priority levels. ($1.25 ea/10,000 — available now.)
