Low cost dev kit targets LatticeXP2 FPGA

The LatticeXP2 Brevia Development Kit features 28 new proven reference designs based on the instant-on XP2 FPGA. The non-volatile SRAM-based FPGA provides embedded memory, PLLs, high performance LVDS I/O, and remote field upgrade in packages a small 8 x 8 mm.

The kit features the LFXP2-5E-6TN144C device, 2 Mbits of SPI flash and 1 Mbit of SRAM, expansion headers, and several LEDs and user switches. Using the kits preloaded system-on-chip design designers can test the UART interfaces, the 8-bit LatticeMico8 soft MCU, and peripheral controllers for SPI and SRAM within minutes. A downloadable LatticeMico32 soft processor is also available. ($29 — available now.)
