Low-cost DMM reads 20,000-count true rms

The low-cost Model 2831E digital multimeter provides true-rms precision with a 20,000-count display. The meter offers 0.03% accuracy, a dual-measurement display, rates to 25 readings/s, threshold settings for quick pass/fail testing, and the ability to download readings via a USB interface using the SCPI protocol.

Housed in a rugged, stackable case, the DMM also provides tactile pushbutton control. The instrument’s measurement capabilities include 750 Vac, 1,000 Vdc, 20 Aac/dc, resistance, frequency, and continuity test.
