The low-cost ADSP-BF592KCPZ-2 200-MHz Blackfin DSP delivers 400-MMAC performance and a BDTImark2000 performance score of 1120. It features an active power draw of just 51 mW at 200 MHz and standby power of less than 1 mW.
The IC comes in a 9 x 9-mm 64 LFCSP package and has 68 Kbytes of core-accessible memory plus a 64-Kbyte L1 instruction ROM. It has four 32-bit timers/counters (three with PWM support), two dual-channel full-duplex synchronous serial ports, two SPI ports, a UART with IrDA support, a parallel peripheral interface, nine peripheral DMAs, and two memory-to-memory DMA channels.
