Low-cost filter suits audio connectors

Designed specifically for MIL-C-555116 audio connectors, the CAF Series commercial filters are MLCCs manufactured as planar arrays, allowing inclusion of ferrite beads during assembly to create a Pi filter. The resulting cost reduction allows the filters to rival the Source Control Drawing (SCD) approach.

RoHS compliant and Pb free, the filters have an operating voltage range from 25 to 500 Vdc within an operating temperature of –55° to 125°C. Series includes standard six- and seven-way filters commonly used in Audio Filtered Connectors. (Contact Dan Jordan for pricing and availability.)
