The ultra-low-density low-power iCE40LP FPGA family now stretches from 384 to 7680 logic cells and offers a package as small as 1.4 x 1.48 x 0.45 mm. The devices have 10 to 206 I/Os, offer hard IP for strobe generators, I2 C and SPI interfaces, and five types of packages are available.
The 640 logic cell version takes only 100 µA, at 0 KHz, 1.2 V Vcc and requires less than 1 mW in active mode. The devices offer low latency for context-aware systems performing real-time capturing of user and environmental inputs with minimal delay. Prices start at under $1 in high volume.
