Low-cost power sensor works with PC, USB

Suited for measuring average power of CW, multitone, and modulated RF waveforms such as those used in 3G, 4G, and OFDM designs, the MA24106A true-rms power sensor measures over a 63-dB dynamic range from 50 MHz to 6 GHz. To make measurements in the lab, field, or factory, the $2,400 sensor communicates with a PC over its USB interface using included software.

The sensor provides 33-dBm power handling, 3.3-kV ESD protection, and ±0.13-dB typical accuracy. NIST-traceable calibration data is stored directly in the sensor, so all frequency and temperature corrections are done internally and no reference calibrator is needed. ($2,400—available 4 weeks ARO.)
