Low-cost programmer operates from parallel PC port
The EMP-10 is an entry-level 16-bit programmer. It programs 8- and 16-bit
EPROMs, many 8051 microcontrollers, all Intel flash memories, and the Lattice
GAL22V10 device.
The main programming station is a dual-width 40-pin ZIF socket. Near
the ZIF is a socket for a “Family Module,” which determines what
can be programmed by reconfiguring power, ground, and pin drivers.
The EMP-20 and EMP-30 are members of the family that support more devices.
The EMP-30 universal programmer is upgradeable as new devices become available.
(EMP-10, $219.95; EMP-20, $449.95; EMP-30, $995–available now.)
