Low-cost test monitor covers multiple formats

The AT-DIS7-PROHD 7-in. HD monitor is suited for testing cabling and component installations where displays are remote or not yet present. Unlike other monitors, it can test all digital formats — such as DVI and HDMI — as well as VGA, Component, and RGB-HV, and is priced under $500.

An additional function lets users view Display Data Channel (DDC) signal information, such as HDCP compliance, resolution and frequency, digital format, and audio information. Built-in speakers allow audio monitoring as well. A battery pack and 3D capability will be made available in the near future. ($499 — available now.)
