Low ESR axial capacitors target automotive

The B41689 series of axial-lead aluminum electrolytic capacitors features very low ESR and a reduction in internal thermal resistance, allowing ripple current to be increased by 50%, compared to standard axial-lead series. The series is intended for automotive electronics and has a temperature range -55° to 150°C and a lifetime rating of 10,000 h at 125°C.

The capacitors are rated for 25 V DC, 40 V DC, and 63 V DC with values from 270 to 4500 µF. Their optimized mechanical design allows high vibration stability of up to 40 g. From $3 ea/1,000.
