Low-insertion connectors are low cost

The 6284 LIF (low-insertion-force) FFC/FPC connector series features a 0.5-mm pitch and suits price-sensitive applications. The connectors have a staggered dual-contact arrangement that increases separation force and eases the positioning and insertion of the FFC/FPC cable.

Available in 8 to 60 positions, the connectors have a 1.5-mm profile and offer operating temperatures from –40° to 85°C, and can be extended to 105°C per application requirements. (From less than $0.30 — 12 weeks ARO.)
