Made with LL335i or LL142 coax, SCE1806 series low-loss test cables are rated for 18 GHz, and are suited for rugged environments where phase stability is required. The cables allow for higher power transmission; the resultant higher temperatures do not have a negative impact on cable performance because of the thermal stability of its PTFE tape dielectric. Due to their precise construction, the cables offer 75% less phase shift and 20% to 35% less attenuation compared with Mil-Spec cables.
The double-shielded flexible coax provides shielding greater than 95 dB and VSWR of less than 1.35:1. The cable assemblies come in 36- and 48-ft lengths with a choice of stainless steel TNC, SMA, and N-Type connectors and a heavy-duty booting to improve strain relief. Pricing is in the $250 to $300 range per cable, with quantity discounts.
