Suitable for communication applications, the single-channel 16-bit AD9265 A/D converter consumes 370 mW. The ADC core features a multistage differential pipelined architecture with integrated output error correction logic. The part features a wide bandwidth differential sample-and-hold analog input amplifier supporting a variety of user-selectable input ranges.
The ADC output data are either parallel 1.8-V CMOS or 1.8-V LVDS (DDR). Available in a 48-pin LF-CSP, the ADC also features a voltage reference, a duty-cycle stabilizer, and power-down options. Programming for setup and control are accomplished using a 3-bit SPI-compatible serial interface. (From $28 ea/1,000 — available now.)
