The ADSP-BF700 through ADSP-BF707 Blackfin high-performance DSP family delivers 800 MMACS of processing while requiring total power of less than 100 mW – said to be double the performance or half the power of competing devices. The cost-effective eight-member BF700 family includes up to 128 Kbytes to 1 Mbyte of SRAM with ECC and an optional DDR memory interface. They come in LFCSP88 or CSP_BGA184 packages.
The ICs feature 200 and 400 MHz speed grades, dual 16-bit or single 32-bit MAC support per cycle, 16-bit complex MAC support, cache enhancements, and branch prediction. They have USB, SDIO, CAN, ePPI, SPORT, and QuadSPI I/O. The chips also have an optional 4-channel 10-bit A/D converter. Starting from $3.99/ea/1,000.
