Low-power camera SoC provides 60 fps H.264

The A7 IP Camera SoC brings high-quality 1080p 60-fps H.264 performance to video surveillance cameras. The IC has a high performance image sensor pipeline with up to 500 MHz pixel capture rate, a multi-streaming H.264 encoder, and power consumption below 1.5 W.

The chip uses professional broadcast encoding technology with advanced 3D noise reduction to deliver quality video at low bit rates, even in complex high-motion and low-light scenes. A wide selection of CMOS sensors are supported, including the newest generation of 14-Mpixel and wide-dynamic-range devices. A high compression efficiency is enabled by large motion estimation search range and support for hierarchical B-frames. (Contact company for price — samples available to select customers.)
