The C8051F970 energy-efficient 8-bit MCU features fast 16-bit resolution capacitive touch sensing with 43 input channels. The MCU has 200 µA/MHz active current, 2 µs transitioning from sleep mode, 55 nA sleep current with brownout detector enabled and 280 nA sleep current with a 16.4 kHz internal oscillator.
The 8051 compatible processor has 25 MIPS performance with an expanded interrupt handler, a seven-channel DMA module, 32 Kbytes of flash, 8 Kbyes of RAM, a 128-bit unique identifier and on-chip debug circuitry. It runs on 1.8 to 3.6 V over –40° to 85°C and comes in QFN24 (4 x 4 mm), QFN32 (5 x 5 mm), or QFN48 (6 x 6 mm) packages. Six versions (C8051F97x) from $1.18 ea/10,000.
