Low power SRIO switch handles 30 Gbits/s

The Tsi572 Serial RapidIO switch provides chip-to-chip interconnect between I/O devices and 4x links to backplanes. It enables high performance peer-to-peer communication through its non-blocking switch fabric and features 120-200 mW per port power.

The chip complies with the AMC.4 specification and supports 30 Gbits/s aggregate bandwidth, with 1.25, 2.5, and 3.125 Gbaud rates. It has 110 ns latency packet cut-through and comes in a HSBGA399, 21 mm package. ($59 ea/prod qty.—available now.)
