Featuring a small form factor of 3.0-mm stacking height and 0.4-mm pitch contact, the 5846 Series low-profile board-to-board connectors have a fully insulated bottom plate and pinched contact structure for protection against vibration, drop shock and short circuits. They are available in 20 to 80 positions, with a positive mating contact that offers audible and tactile “click” feedback.
The connectors have standard 0.5-mm pitch contacts with gold flash finish for soldering. Operating temperature range is –40° to 85°C, 0.3 A rated contact current, 50-V rated contact voltage, gold plated beryllium copper contacts and UL 94V-0 heat-resistant insulator material.
