Lowest-power current feedback amp reaches 1.5 GHz
Consumes 44% less power and has exceptional gain flatness
Part of the company’s PowerWise line of chips, the LMH6552 current feedback differential amplifier is offered as the highest-bandwidth device of its kindat 1.5 GHz— while consuming 112 mW, which translates to dissipating 44% less power than competitive products. The amplifier also offers an industry-leading 0.1-dB gain flatness to 450 MHz.
Features include a total harmonic distortion of 90 dBc at 20 MHz and 74 dBc at 70 MHz and a noise performance of 1.1 nV/√Hz, which enable the LMH6552 to drive 14-bit A/D converters at frequencies up to 70 MHz. Housed in an 8-pin SOIC package, the part can be configured as either a differential-input-to-differential-output gain block or single-ended-input-to-differential-output gain block.
