LVPECL/LVDS buffers guaranteed at 1.5 GHz

The SY89467U and SY89468U are high-speed, differential LVPECL and LVDS buffers with a fanout of 20, and a 2:1 MUX input targeted at hot swap applications. The chips are optimized to prevent a metastable output condition when an input signal’s swing collapses or disappears.

The devices input crosstalk is reduced by up to 70 percent, and AC performance is guaranteed to 1.5 GHz over full temperature and voltage, with rise and fall times less than 110 ps, and jitter of less than 10 ps p-p. Operation is guaranteed over -40° to 85°C at supply voltages of 2.5 to 3.3V. ($6.15 ea/1,000—samples available now.)
