LXI switch permits precise power-up, -down

The 60-200 LXI remote ac power management switch lets users power instruments or other ac-powered devices under programmatic control. Connected to a single 10-A ac supply, the switch’s eight outlets can provide up to 6 A per outlet or 10 A total to all connected instruments.

Using a Web browser and LXI-compliant Ethernet connection, the 1U-high unit can be preprogrammed to power devices up or down in any order, with timed sequencing, so as to limit system inrush current and ensure that power-order-sensitive systems are correctly started and shut down.
