Mag sensor processor handles low-level signals

The MAXQ7665/7666 are mixed-signal MCUs that provide an integrated system for processing signals from magnetoresistive sensors in automotive and industrial applications. The 7 x 7-mm chips handle low-level inputs with a resolution of up to 8 µV and transmit processed analog and/or digital data.

They have a 16-bit RISC MAXQ core CPU enhanced by a 16 x 16 hardware multiplier, 512 bytes of SRAM for data, and 16 or 64 Kbytes of automotive-grade flash, The chips use as little as 0.25 mA at a 1-MHz clock and have both analog and digital outputs from a 12-bit DAC, a UART port for LIN 2.0, eight general-purpose I/Os, and a CAN 2.0B-compliant interface.
