The CMX7045 Marine ASIS Search and Rescue Transmitter (SART) baseband processor meets IEC 1097 requirements and incorporates auxiliary operations that reduce count and cost. The self-contained radio transmitter is deployed by survival craft of distressed vessel for position notification.

The AIS-SART processor IC features a 9,600-baud GMSK modulator, very-low-power sleep modes, AIS-SART formatted data, PA Ramp automation, four DAC outputs, and system PLL clocks. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
