MCU has Cortex-M0+ core and 12-bit A/D

The SAM D20 microcontroller is based on a 48-MHz Cortex-M0+ core with 16 to 256 Kbytes of flash and 2 to 32 Kbytes of SRAM. The IC comes in 32-, 48-, and 64-pin packages. It has a 12-bit, 350-ksample/s A/D converter with up to 20 channels and automatic offset and gain error compensation, and a 10-bit D/A converter.

The chip includes an eight-channel event system, up to eight 16-bit timer/counters, a real-time clock, a peripheral touch controller, and uses a single supply from 1.62 to 3.63 V. Pricing starts at $1.02 ea/1,000 for the 16-Kbyte 32-pin QFN package device. Samples are available now.
