MCUs feature Cortex-M4 core, fast flash

The Tiva TM4C123x Cortex-M4 based MCUs (formerly known as the Stellaris LM4F series) are in production today and target home, building and industrial automation. The 65 nm flash process technology devices run at 80 MHz with no flash memory wait states, and have standby currents as low as 1.6 µA.

The LQFP packaged TM4C123GE6PM version has 128 Kbytes flash, 32 Kbytes of SRAM, dual 12-bit A/D (±3 LSB, max.), a floating-point unit, CAN A/B, USB 2.0, and I2 C ports, and 16 PWM channels. The ICs ROM is preprogrammed with: peripheral driver library, boot loader, AES cryptography tables, and CRC error-detection functionality. The TM4C123GE6PMI is $5.19 ea/800.
