The combination of the Model XAM-1 measuring
microscope with the Model TMCVS color LCD 4 x
2.5-in. monitor, a camera based on a 1/3-in. CCD
chip, and a video adapter provides a low-cost
microscope-based measurement system that can be
directly connected to any video recorder,
computer, or color printer. The combined
magnification of the system is 48X.
Measurements may be read in 0.00005-in. and
0.001-mm divisions. The viewing monitor features
89 kpixels and can rotate 90° vertically and
15° horizontally. The CCD camera features a
scanner resolution of 450 lines and a minimal
