While plenty of wild concepts and prototypes were unveiled at CES 2017, the craziest of them all might be Razer's Project Valerie, the world's first laptop with three built-in 4K displays that automatically deploy and retract into a condensed 12-pound notebook.
The device is a 1.5-inch-thick aluminum design targeted at the power user — whether it be a gamer who desires more pixels for a widescreen gaming experience or a work professional who needs more real estate for charts, spreadsheets, and feeds.
The three 17.3-inch IGZO screens equipped with Nvidia G-Sync video technology offer a 12K resolution. There isn't an all-in-one laptop available with more pixels than Project Valerie.
The computer is based off of Razer's flagship Blade Pro laptop, and is powered by a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card with 8 GB of video RAM and VR capabilities. Similar to the Blade Pro, Project Valerie has a low-profile mechanical keyboard, which can configure light up to 16.8 million different colors and support various custom profiles for apps and games. The two extra displays feature under-glow lighting. Additionally, it can be used for super-wide Word docs. We also expect that Project Valerie will feature an Intel Core i7 and up to 32GB of RAM.
It's important to note that this device is only a concept piece. Knowing that the Blade Pro starts at $3,700, Project Valerie is likely to set you back $6,000 when it's finally released.
