Mezzanine plug suits high-speed apps

Part of the GIG-ARRAY high-speed high-density line, a 25-mm mezzanine plug connector provides either 200 or 296 signal contacts and allows for a 40-mm stack height when used with the company’s 15-mm receptacles. The connectors can also be paired with 5-mm receptacle connectors to provide an additional option to achieve 30-mm board-to-board spacing.

GIG-ARRAY differential pairs nominally provide 100-Ω matched impedance and support data rates up to 10 Gbits/s. The 296-position connector features 37 columns, with eight individual signal contacts and nine ground contacts in each column. The 200-position connector contains 25 columns.
