The next-generation HDMI Type D (Micro) connector can carry up to 5 Gbits/s of bandwidth to support high-definition video and audio in a single cable, and meets all the electrical and mechanical specifications of HDMI Specification 1.4. The connector offers the same 19 pins and features as the Type C (Mini) HDMI connector, but, at roughly 2.8 x 6.4 mm, is half the size.
