Microchip’s PIC16F1575 deliver four 16-bit PWMs with independent timers

This post is sponsored by Microchip Technology

The Microchip PIC16F1575 microcontroller combines the capabilities of 16-bit PWMs with analog to suit a variety of applications. These devices deliver four 16-bit PWMs with independent timers for applications where high resolution is needed, such as LED lighting, stepper motors, power supplies and other general-purpose applications.

PIC16F1575
The PIC16F1575 MCU is distinguished from other MCUs in Microchip’s 157x family by offering 14Kb program flash memory, up to 1,024 bytes of SRAM, 12 I/O pins, two comparators, and a pin count of 14, among other features. The 16-bit PWMs can be optimized for precision, efficiency and EMI (electromagnetic interference) performance, or they can be configured as general purpose timers, providing four additional 16-bit timers. Other features include:
• Enhanced mid-range core with 49 instruction, 16 stack levels
• Flash program memory with self read/write capability
• High endurance flash memory (100,000 writes per minute)
• Internal clock speeds from 31kHz to 32MHz
