Microcontroller targets auto market
The 16-bit SAB-C167 microcontroller is an enhanced version of the 80C166
for motor control. It features a 50-ns interrupt sample rate, 50-ns
counter resolution and 100-ns instruction cycle at 40-MHz; 2 Kbytes of
on-chip RAM, a 16-Mbyte address range, 8-Kbyte ROM, and 111 I/O lines. The
SAB-C167 also has a 78-kHz PWM unit and a 16-channel 10-bit A/D converter
with 9.75-microsecond conversion time. The chip has 48 interrupt sources,
including 35 external. Eight of the interrupts are sampled every 50 ns.
