The Centellis 500 low-cost MicroTCA system uses innovative plastic packaging and is available for half the price of previous generation systems. The completely tested and validated package includes SpiderWareM3 platform management software and an Intel Core2 Duo-based Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC).
The system also includes the MicroTCA backplane, fans, a power module, a MicroTCA Carrier Hub (MCH), and a card cage. The processor card supports GbE fabric to all the AMC payload slots and provides individual status and power control to each card, which allows hot swap. (Less than $5,000 — available now.)
