Midspan powers low- and high-power devices

The POE576U-24AFAT is a 24-port midspan that provides eight IEEE 802.3at and 16 802.3af ports in a 1U chassis. The .3at provides 33.6–W/port, and .3af has 15.4-W/port. The midspan suits systems with several high-power access points, full-function security surveillance cameras, and a number of VoIP phones.

The midspan provides 576 W for 10/100/1000Base-T and requires no traditional power management to calculate and manage device priorities. The device is SNMP-capable device enables remote monitoring and camera reset. It also provides overtemperature and short-circuit protection. ($758 each — available now.)
