Mini DIP dc/dc drivers target HB LEDs

The LDM12-xx series of miniature, dc/dc LED drivers target power and control of high brightness LEDs. The devices feature a constant current output; analog or PWM dimming control; 93% efficiency, and a 0.50 x 0.40 x 0.27-in. footprint.

The dc/dc LED drivers offer six models that operate from 7 to 16 Vdc input and provide constant current outputs of 300, 350, 500, 600, 700 or 1,000-mA. The devices drive LED strings up to 14 Vdc. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the converters is >3.3 Mh. All models of the family are packaged in a miniature DIP case and are specified for operation -40° to +85°C ambient with no derating or heat sinking required.
