The LDF24E series of dc/dc LED drivers power and control high-brightness LEDs. They feature a constant current output, separate analog and PWM dimming control inputs. The five models operate from 5.5 to 48-V input range and provide constant current outputs of 300, 350, 500, 600, or 700 mA.
The LED drivers have a step down dc/dc design enabling them to drive LED strings up to 36 Vdc. Standard features include short circuit protection, and efficiency to 96%. The 300 and 350 mA models are specified for operation from −40° to 85°C ambient with no derating or heat sinking required. Other models are specified to 71°C. Cooling is by free-air convection.
