The MHI100DI5.7 series of 1-W dc/dc converters are housed in a miniature SIP case and feature an I/O isolation of 5,700 Vdc and a common mode transient immunity of 15 kV/us. The converters are specifically designed to provide the high isolation, noise immunity, compact size, long-term reliability, and low cost required for high-speed, high-power switching applications.
The dc/dc converter series offers 40 models, which operate from 5-, 12-, 15-, or 24-Vdc inputs and provide outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, ±5, ±9, ±12 or ±15 Vdc. Four models offer unbalanced dual outputs of +15 V and -9 V, for use with IGBT driver circuits (such as the 962 type controllers). The MTBF is greater than 2.0 Mh. The operating temperature range is –40°C to +85°C with no heat sinking required.
