512-line resolution
The E9 miniature rotary encoder is an incremental optical encoder with
resolution up to 512 lines per revolution. Measuring 22 (Dia) x 21 (L)
mm, the device has a rugged modified-polymer code disc that exhibits dimensional
stability over an operating temperature range of –40° to 100°C.
A standby mode reduces current consumption from a normal 10 mA to only
50 µA. An adapter is available to make the E9 a drop-in replacement
for the Hewlett-Packard HEDS series of encoders. (From $22 ea/1,000–stock.)
