Miniature resistor resists humidity and degradation
Meets needs of high-precision applications such bridge networks and differential amplifiers
Built on the company’s Z-Foil technology, the VHP203 miniature ultra-high-precision resistor features a construction that is presented as an industry breakthrough. The device’s hermetic seal eliminates the ingress of moisture and oxygen while the oil-filled construction offers thermal conductivity to eliminate degradation under regular circumstances and enable the device to accept short periods of overload without degradation.
The ultra-high-precision resistor offers values from 10 Ω to 150 kΩ. Absolute TCR is ±0.05ppm/°C from 0° to 60°C and ±0.2ppm/°C from −55° to 125°C, a power coefficient of ±5ppm at rated power, a tolerance of ±0.001% (10ppm), and a load-life stability of ±0.002% (20ppm).
The resistor withstands electrostatic discharges exceeding 25kV. The device suits high-precision applications such as instrumentation amplifiers, bridge networks, and differential amplifiers. (From $10—3 days to 3 weeks ARO.)
