The ADSP-CM402, -CM403, -CM407, -CM408 mixed-signal control processors integrate dual 380 ns 16-bit A/D converters with up to 14 bits of accuracy together with a 240-MHz Cortex-M4 processor core. The chip targets highly accurate, closed-loop control in servo-motor drive, solar photovoltaic inverter, and other embedded industrial applications.
The processors feature a full 3rd and 4th order sinc filter implementation to interface directly to isolated sigma-delta modulators for shunt-based current sensing along with a harmonic analysis engine for power quality measurements. Versions of the device have 128 to 384 Kbytes of zero-wait-state SRAM with 16 Kbyte cache and up to 2 Mbytes of flash, a 16-bit asynchronous external memory interface, single and 3-phase PWM units, four encoder interfaces, a 10/100 Ethernet MAC, Full Speed USB OTG, and two CAN 2.0B interfaces. From $8.14 ea/1,000.
