Mixer FM IF ICs offer high-speed RSSI
The NE/SA624/5/7 mixer FM IF circuits have received signal strength
indicator (RSSI) rise and fall times of 0.9 and 1.4 microsecond,
respectively, at a 10.7-MHz input frequency. The devices incorporate two
limiting IF amps, a quadrature detector, muting, fast logarithmic RSSI,
and a voltage regulator. In addition to the above features, the
NE/SA625/7 have a mixer/oscillator that accommodates input signals up to
500 MHz. The NE/SA627 also offers an additional limiter output. The
NE/SA624 and NE/SA625/7 use 3.4 and 5.8 mA, respectively, at 6 V. The
devices come in 16- (NE/SA624) and 20-lead (NE/SA625/7) DIPs and SO
