Mixer operates from 400 MHz to 2.7 GHz

The LT5578 active upconverter mixer delivers high dynamic-range performance from 400 MHz to 2.7 GHz, supporting all of the allocated LTE broadband wireless services. At 900 MHz, the mixer offers 27-dBm output IP3 linearity and a noise floor of –160.5 dBm/Hz at an output level of –5 dBm.

In addition, the mixer has 1.4-dB conversion gain with integrated RF balun transformers that provide a single-ended RF output and LO input to simplify designs. Housed in a 24-lead plastic QFN surface-mount package, the part operates from a single 3.3-V supply and offers a typical quiescent supply current of 152 mA. (From $5.25 ea/1,000 — available now.)
