MLCCs offer high capacitance, low ESR

Suited for switch-mode power-supply filters, the SMC and HSC series MLCCs are offered with temperature ratings of 150°, 200°, and 250°C, with high capacitance and low ESR. Available with HiRel screening, both series are available in J-, L-, and N-leaded configurations for through-hole or surface-mount use.

Capacitance ranges are from 470 nf to 35 µf in the 125°C rating, with rated voltages from 25 to 1,000 V, 150°C and higher will have slightly lower nominal capacitance ratings. (2225 size capacitor with two stacked chips with 10 µF at 50 V, from $1.75 ea/1,000 — 6 weeks for samples, 6 to 8 weeks ARO.)
