MMIC amps operate from 50 MHz to 3 GHz

The HMC740ST89E/HMC741ST89E InGaP HBT-based gain-block MMIC amplifiers are rated from 50 MHz to 3 GHz, and require no external matching components. The HMC740ST89E delivers 15-dB gain with up to 40-dBm output IP3, and up to 18-dBm output P1dB, while the HMC741ST89E offers 20-dB gain with up to 42-dBm output IP3, and up to 18.5-dBm output P1dB.

The parts feature a gain flatness of ±0.3 dB from 50 MHz to 1 GHz, and carry a class 1C ESD rating (1-kV HBM). Housed in SOT89 packages, the amplifiers incorporate on-chip active bias networks which allows them to operate directly from a single 5-V supply. ($4.45 ea/10 — available now.)
