Modem module offers full data/fax features
The XE9624E is a full-featured modem module that offers 2,400-bit/s data
operation and up to 9,600-bit/s Group 3 fax operation. Data transfer
features include MNP or V.42 error control and MNP 5 or V.42bis data
compression. The XE9624E's serial interface follows EIA-232-D signal
definitions for compatibility with any UART. In addition, the device comes
with FCC Part 68 registration. The XE9624E measures 2.28 (L) x 1.08 (W) x
0.42 (H) in. and uses 650 mW during typical operation. An automatic sleep
mode reduces power consumption to 50 mW. ($109 ea/10,000–available now.)
