Modular drive suits multiple-axis applications
Suitable for four-, six-, or eight-lead step motors, the Model SS2000MD7
bipolar PWM drive can operate a SLO-SYN step motor in increments of 1/2,
1/10, 1/25, or 1/200 microsteps. Control signals are optically isolated
from the drive signals and a separate power supply provides the required
dc power. The drive has full short-circuit, thermal, undervoltage, and
transient overvoltage protection. Other features include switch-selectable
current levels from 1 to 7 A with an input of 24 to 75 Vdc, and
switch-selectable step resolution. No external resistors or jumpers are
required. The drive measures 4.375 x 1.36 x 5.73 in. weighs 1.5 lb, and
has an operating temperature range of 0 degrees to 50 degreesC.
