Pixus Technologies has upgraded its RiCase line of instrumentation cases by adding a 3U height at a 300-mm depth and a 4U height at a 420-mm depth. The sizes expand the range of 10.5-in. and 19-in. wide instrumentation cases.
The RiCase series of instrumentation cases combine ruggedness with an all-metal design. And the corners are rounded for aesthetics, mechanical protection, and to prevent snags and injuries.
The modular electronics enclosures can also be stacked on top of another RiCase enclosure to further boost security. Pixus claims that these instrumentation cases have been approved by end-users in the energy exploration industry for their weight load support and reliability.
A modular design enables Pixus to offer a vast range of size options — 1U to 10U heights, 19-in. and 10.5-in. widths, and 300-mm, 420-mm, and 540-mm depths. The Waterloo, Ontario-based manufacturer of enclosures also offers customized sizes upon request.
Furthermore, Pixus makes available vented and non-vented covers as well as multiple front and rear panels. Add to that the hinged doors in metal or acrylic glass.
The company also offers the provisions for mounting slide-in equipment and modular assemblies at regular intervals as per DIN and IEC 60 specifications.
