The Unimod K Series modular switching supply produces up to 1,200 W and is
offered as one of the industry's smallest units with power-factor correction.
It comes in either a three-slot chassis measuring 5 (H) x 11 (D) x 5 (W) in.
with up to six outputs, or a four-slot chassis measuring 5 (H) x 11 (D) x 6.5
(W) in. with up to eight outputs.
The unit's output modules come in 29 single- or dual-output versions with
voltages of 2 to 48 Vdc at power levels from 80 to 1,000 W. Features of the
supply include EMI input filtering, active current sharing, remote sensing,
protection from overvoltages and short circuits, and control and monitoring
functions. (Triple-output configuration in 5-in.-wide case, $1,195; quad-output
configuration in 6.5-in.-wide case, $1,495–8 weeks ARO.)
