devices to Ethernet
The SitePlayer Telnet module connects serial devices, at up to 115 kbits/s, to an Ethernet 10Base-T TCP/IP stack. The device gives OEMs the ability to quickly add Ethernet connectivity with a simple socketed module the size of a postage stamp.
The user can configure, password-protect, and load software updates using a Web browser, with configuration settings stored in nonvolatile memory. The board can be set up as client and server to create a “virtual serial cable” spanning great distances. ($29.95�available now.)
