Module offers five-band 3G HSPA+ connectivity

Added to its AirPrime Q Series of embedded wireless modules, the AirPrime Q2698 adds support for 3G HSPA+ on five frequency bands, along with support for 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE on four frequency bands. The part is also programmable, enabling the development of embedded M2M applications with the Sierra Wireless Open AT Application Framework.

The device offers a programmable ARM1136 processor at 480 MHz and up to 500 user MIPS available. It also has a comprehensive set of interfaces (USB, 2 UART, SPI, I2 C, up to 45 GPIOS …) and supports an extended temperature range from 40 to 85C. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
