Module optimizes solar panel power

The SunMizer photovoltaic module shade-mitigation tool isolates the shaded module(s) from the rest of the modules in a series connected string and prevents it from drawing down the power output of the string. The dc/dc power optimizer performs maximum-power-point (MPP) tracking at the panel substring level to increase power harvest.
